Welcome to Golden Wheel Driving School (“School,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By enrolling in lessons, booking services, or using our website https://goldenwheeldriving.com/, you agree to the following Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

1. Eligibility

Students must meet all New Jersey MVC requirements for obtaining a permit or license.

Students under 18 require parental/guardian consent.

A valid learner’s permit or driver’s license must be presented at the first lesson.

2. Payments

All payments are due before lessons begin unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Packages must be used within 6 months of purchase.

All fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.

Accepted forms of payment: cash, debit/credit card, or approved online payment.

3. Scheduling & Cancellations

Lessons must be scheduled in advance.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

Missed lessons or late cancellations will result in loss of lesson credit or an additional fee.

The School reserves the right to reschedule lessons due to weather, instructor illness, or vehicle availability.

4. Student Responsibilities

Arrive on time with permit/license and corrective lenses if needed.

Follow all instructor directions for safety.

Do not attend lessons under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medications that impair driving.

Unsafe, aggressive, or disruptive behavior may result in termination of services without refund.

5. Road Test Services

Road test scheduling is subject to NJ MVC availability.

The School may assist with booking but does not guarantee dates.

Use of a School vehicle for road test requires advance booking and additional fees.

6. Safety & Liability

While our instructors prioritize safety, driving carries risks.

Golden Wheel Driving School is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages during lessons, road tests, or while using School vehicles.

Students and/or guardians are responsible for compliance with New Jersey traffic laws.

7. Privacy

We collect and use personal information only for lesson scheduling, communication, and NJ MVC compliance.

We do not sell or share student information with third parties, except as required by law.

Refund Policy

1. General Policy

All payments made to Golden Wheel Driving School are non-refundable, except where required by law.

Once lessons have begun, no refunds will be issued for completed or unused portions of a package.

2. Lesson Packages

Packages must be completed within 6 months of purchase.

Unused lessons after this period will expire and cannot be refunded or transferred.

Lessons are non-transferable to another student.

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

Failure to provide timely notice or a “no-show” will result in the lesson being forfeited without refund.

If the School cancels a lesson (e.g., due to weather, instructor illness, or vehicle issues), the lesson will be rescheduled at no additional charge.

4. Road Test Services

Road test fees and vehicle rental fees are non-refundable once booked.

If the student does not appear for the scheduled road test or is not eligible (e.g., missing required documents), no refund will be issued.

5. Special Circumstances

Refunds may only be considered in exceptional cases (such as medical conditions preventing the student from continuing lessons). In such cases, written proof may be required, and any approved refund will be subject to an administrative fee.

6. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and will become effective immediately unless otherwise stated.
